PCC is Kansas City's largest Comicon and KCR2 is thrilled to participate each and every year. PCC is held at Bartle Hall and grows each and every year. We also do a panel every year where we answer questions about joining the club or building your own R2.

Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth - and it's coming to The Little Apple! Saturday, Sep. 20, 10am-4pm, all along Moro St. in Aggieville.
About Maker Faire:
Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It's a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.
Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to artists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of the Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect, and grow this community.

Members of KCR2 participated in Confabularryum. This was the first year for the event and judging by the turnout it will be hopefully held again. We had a lot of fun and talked to kids young and old.

One of our favorite events every year is Maker Faire KC. One of the largest in the nation, thousands of people of all ages attend this two day event at Union Station in Kansas City. We speak to hundreds of people about how we build our R2 units, what materials we use and costs. We usually gain a new member or two from this great event. At the 2015 event we should have several droids driving around. Stop by and say hello.
